About Pink Warriors Angels

supporting cancer patients across the united States

Pink Warriors Angels is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing hope, support, and assistance to individuals undergoing cancer treatment throughout the United States and to Active Duty Military members stationed abroad.

Founded by two-time breast cancer survivor Julie Moser, Pink Warriors Angels was created from personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges cancer patients face during treatment.

Our Story: Why We Started

In October 2013, founder Julie Moser was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 39. As a military spouse and mother of two young daughters, the diagnosis changed her family’s life overnight.

Like many cancer patients, Julie experienced severe side effects from chemotherapy that prevented her from working during treatment. Beyond hair loss, cancer brought emotional, physical, and financial challenges that affected every aspect of daily life.

Despite these obstacles, Julie remained determined to help others facing similar struggles. Her experience inspired the creation of Pink Warriors Angels, a nonprofit focused on supporting cancer patients and their families throughout treatment.

In December 2020, Julie faced breast cancer for a second time. Rather than giving up, her renewed battle strengthened her commitment to helping others navigate the difficult journey of cancer treatment with dignity, hope, and support.

Who is Marily Considine?

Julie met Marily Considine on the first day of her chemo treatment in 2013.  Marily had been asked by a fellow military spouse to visit Julie because she was a breast cancer survivor also.  Marily became Julie’s angel.  On many of her darkest days, Marily brought a positive outlook.  Her kindness and spirit were a shining star to many.

As Marily’s cancer progressed she asked that those she helped continue to give back to others.  On February 10, 2019, at the age of 41, Marily passed away leaving behind her loving husband, two sweet children, and a legacy of love.

PWA strives to emulate the spirit of Marily as we reach out in our community and our nation to do what we can to help cancer warriors in need.  Marily is a big part of why we do what we do.

We love, love, love you, Marily.

My name is Bonnie Vargo. I am a Metavivor. My breast cancer returned in Feb. 2019 and it spread to my liver and spine. I have been battling cancer since 2003 and although it has been a long hard road my faith has grown immensely over the years. The Pink Warrior Angels of Texas are a Godsent and an answer to a prayer. They are truly Angels and are helping me pay some bills which I could not pay. My husband Alex and I are on social security and it has been tough trying to make ends meet. Thank you Pink Warrior Angels of Texas for your support and generosity. Your organization is a blessing to those of us going through cancer and I will spread the word about you to my Pink Sisters.
